Whether you’re new to Lyft, and this is your first time riding, or if you’re already an existing user, these promos can save you money every time you use the app. Even something as simple as using the right credit card lets you earn free rewards!

#5: Hertz Car Rental

Though it’s the most situational of the five, if you plan to rent a car anytime soon, this deal’s definitely worth it–just returning it will net you $10 in Lyft credit! All you have to do is open up the Lyft app and use it to book a Hertz car nearby. You’ll also get an additional driver option for free at pickup.

This partnership only started in late June, but is already available in several US locations, including Chicago, Boston, and Salt Lake City, and will release nationwide.

#4: Delta Skymiles

For new Lyft sign-ups, linking a Delta Skymiles account gets you two $10 credits for your first two trips. On top of that, for anyone who links their accounts, every dollar spent on Lyft translates into a mile on your Delta account, and double that for airport rides! (US only)

To link your accounts or to get your free credits, visit www.deltalyft.com and input the requested information, and then hit either ‘Sign up’ or ‘Log in’ depending on whether you already have a Lyft account.

#3: Hilton Honors

Hilton Honors members who become new users can get $5 off their first three rides within a month of signing up, and everyone who links their accounts can earn 3 Points for every dollar spent on Lyft (2 Points for shared rides). Both offers are available in the US and Canada.

Like Delta, linking your accounts or signing up is easy from hiltonhonorslyft.com! However, you can only link your Lyft account with one travel rewards partner at a time.

#2: World and World Elite Mastercards

Every month, after taking 3 rides, you can earn a $5 Lyft credit so long as you use either a World or World Elite Mastercard to pay for them! You don’t need to sign up for anything or link any accounts–just paying with one will get you started.

The promotion ends on 9/30, and credits earned expire 30 days after they’re applied.

#1: Chase Credit Cards

And finally comes the most versatile promo of all: When you use a J.P. Morgan Reserve card, or a Chase Sapphire, Ink, or Freedom card, you can get 5% cash back, or even 5 or 10 times the Chase Ultimate Rewards points, depending on which card you have! Like the Mastercard, there’s no sign-up or account linking required, but this one doesn’t expire until 2025. You can see the benefits of each card on their partner webpage.
