When calculating an estimate for a trip, most models assume a traffic-free ride. This often skews the projected rate lower than what what it ends up costing. We all know that traffic can dramatically increase the cost of the trip, and our budgets often do not take this into account. Today we are pleased to announce that our rate calculations now use real-time traffic data to better estimate trip duration and further increase the accuracy of our calculated fares. Planning a future trip during an off-peak time or during rush hour? You can now view rates based on “light”, “normal”, or “heavy” traffic in our options menu.
