Lyft Pink, formerly called Ride Pass Smart Savings Plan, is a monthly subscription plan that costs $19.99 per month. The plan offers 15% off all rides across any Lyft service, for an unlimited number of rides. Other perks include priority airport pickups, waived lost and found fees, and additional surprise offers. Lyft will also waive cancellation fees for members, up to 3 times per month (if rebooked within 15 minutes). Members also receive 3 free 30-minute bike and scooter rides each month. Lyft Pink is valid in all cities in the US where Lyft operates. The comparable Uber membership service is Uber Ride Pass.
Many riders ask if it’s worth it to shell out the $19.99 per month for the plan. It all depends on frequency of usage. Riders who spend at least $133.33 a month will save money with the subscription. For most riders who use the service occasionally, it most likely will not save you any money.
Riders can sign up for Lyft Pink directly within the app, by clicking the main menu icon in the top left corner, and selecting the Ride Pass option. Ride Pass can be canceled in the same section of the app. There is no contract or commitment and membership can be cancelled any time.
