Uber
An Uber Black vehicle must be made within five years of a driver’s application, contain at least four seats for passengers, and fall within the company’s list of authorized luxury vehicles. A driver-partner needs a rating of at least 4.85 or better to stay in the Uber Black program.
Lyft
A qualified Lyft Lux vehicle is a black vehicle made in 2013 or later with leather or similar quality seats. A Lyft Lux driver must have a rating of 4.7 stars or better to qualify for this premium service.
